Jan 10, 2008 · I would like to delete this account and open another one because i can't get my questions that i have asked and are resolved to delete and i do not want those questions on here anymore but at the same time i don't want my yahoo account to be deleted just the answers.I know there has to be a way to delete yahoo answers with out having it effect your email and regular yahoo account.

Jan 11, 2012 · You cannot change the Yahoo programming allowing 90 days to re-activate the account. That period of time is set to allow people to recover mail they may still need. After 90 days all information is deleted from the Yahoo servers completely.

Jun 02, 2020 · As the other responses show you can not delete your account, only Yahoo can do that. You can either not sign into your account again so that Yahoo will deactivate your account due to inactivity after a year or you can close your account. Once closed, depending on where you live, it can take up to 6 months before your account is deactivated.
